I've stayed at Enchanted Forest Farms on multiple occassions and each time, the experience has been better than the last. If you are looking for an authentic farmstay, this is the place. The farmstay is far away from the city's hustle and bustle, so perfect for a serene getaway. Take a walk around the expansive property, play with the adorable doggies, share stories around a bonfire, or just sit on the bench and take in the breathtaking view of the exquisite hillscape. Oh, and did I tell you there's a waterfall? Yep.Tucked away in the midst of forest, is a waterfall gushing with pristine, cystal-clear water.
And lastly, how can I forget the warm and welcoming hosts Deep and Priya. They care about their guests and it shows in the time and effort they put to run this place. Highly recommended!

The location is to die for, the staff well mannered and helpful and the home cooked food that was served to us was really delicious.
If you are a pet lover, they have many super friendly dogs who will give you good company.
They view from the balcony was surreal and so was the hike to the waterfall.
I am surely coming back soon.
I must start off by sharing my gratitude & admiration for the entire team at Enchanted. They are a small team but boy do they pack a punch, they are super motivated to provide the highest quality of hospitality for their guests. Pritam & Prayas are two rock stars who can give many high end hotel managers a run for their money, Didi & her staff prepare the most delicious home cooked meals with locally sourced produce, Deep & Priya spend lots of quality time with their guests to ensure they feel welcomed & comfortable.
Coming to the property itself, what can I say, just have a look at the pictures :) We stayed for two nights, one each in the two duplex cottages. The cottages are MORE THAN enough to enjoy a comfortable quiet stay in the hills. Sunrise is early and so is the sunset, through the day you hear the many wonderful sounds of nature (waterfall, bird calls) and as dusk falls you have the most amazing views of Gangtok city all to yourself. We were lucky to have the company of some fellow guests along with Deep over a bonfire where we had some of the most interesting & fun conversations of our Sikkim trip.
Special mention for the waterfall nearby, totally worth the trek downhill and is one of the highlights of the homestay.
Solitude, relaxation, stimulating conversations are some of the many things you can expect at Enchanted, IMO a must-do experience if you’re in Gangtok.
PSA: This is not a luxury hotel, it’s a homestay managed by a group of amazing people. You must align your expectations accordingly.

A must stay gem away from the hustle & bustle of Gangtok
Enchanted Forest Farm - Deep and his team runs a lovely farm stay near Gangtok in a village called as Perbing in Ranka.
It was like a dream vacation at their stay.
Special features of the stay:
1. Beautifully made cottages
2. Gorgeous views of the mountains from the bedroom window
3. Views of the Gangtok night lights at night
4. Chirping of birds in the mornings
5. Being inaccessible to direct motorable road makes the stay very peaceful and a perfect location.
6. Scrumptious home made local food by Kumari didi (cook) who lives in nearby in the same village.
7. The marvellous waterfall at the end of the farm property takes your breath away. We had a heavenly time taking a dip inside the waterfall (most beautiful feature of the property).
8. If you are at the property and have time, Kumari di can take you for a village walk too.
9. You could also request for a bon fire during the evening / night if its not raining.
10. You could also try a local drink called as Tongba or fermented ragi millet drink which is served in a bamboo container. You need to inform them in advance if you wish to try.
11. The 9 dogs will keep u engaged if u r a dog lover.
All in all, a very unique, magical & a memorable stay which cannot be missed if you are in Gangtok. Must stay at least for 2 nights.
The place is simply awesome. Deep and Priya are the wonderful host. I have never met such an amazing hosts ever. The entire staff in this property is adorable. Here are some reasons for which you should definitely choose this place.
1. Lovely hosts.
2. Scenic view, both day and night(the city view in the night is something incredible).
3. A waterfall, that is just 10 mins away (nice scenic walk). Safe to take a dip.
4. The food is ultimate. You will not find the better food than this in the entire gangtok (at least this was our best food and experience in gangtok)
5. The staff is so helpful and jolly, you wont feel away from home.
6. Nice and clean cottages. You will love the interiors of those.
It was a very great experience and we would definitely be coming back to meet this lovely couple and experience the blissfulness.

One of the best places to stay in India because of the warmth of Priya and Deep. It starts with and ends with great customer service. Karen and I have been here for the third time and the tranquility and peace that is much needed compared to hustle and bustle of Gangtok. For first timers here, I would make sure you are happy with climbing down concrete steps to the valley and also have the fitness level to climb up. We are from Oxford in the UK and are used to great customer service so to get the same here is amazing
We were kind to ourselves and tried this place on recommendation of close friends who travel a Lot Lot. Also we brought 1 City Partying friends with us.
What we got:
1) 15 minutes walk in beautiful mountain to reach the Farm, 18 acre beautiful property with running water streams and a Private Waterfall, not kidding.
2) Boutique hotel style rooms with spectacular view.
3) Owners who we shared a lot of laughs and discussions with while sitting High, on mountains.
4) Home style but Finger licking home style food, Deep(Owner) was sweet to offer us farm fresh fruits. That was FREE but because I had given him some stock advise ☺️
5) Fun in Waterfalls, "s" because, there were 2 🤯. It was so refreshing and a lot of fun. Beautiful Pictures and Happy wives 😍🔥
This would be our go place whenever we come back there, that's how much I recommend this place and the guys running this place.

After travelling through a deep, risky, adventurous, rocky slope beside the accompanying stream and chirping insects all around, it was an Absolutely Enchanting and Refreshing destination, in the lap of nature. The cottage we were in was very well furnished and the amenities were more than sufficient for a traveller. The dining room, which was a walk away,with the very reasonably priced food, was just as homely as you can imagine. Pet lovers will also find very cute and friendly pet dogs playing around. Various blooming flowers in and around refresh everyone's mind. You can also view the Gangtok town between the grazing clouds from the large window of your room. The night view was especially fabulous. We loved the mindset and taste of the owner(s) and their concern for the tourists.
We will love to visit this place once again in the future.
